What Ahava does is hold my hand. Ahava knows that I know the way, and so she gently reminds me that my own wisdom lies within me. Ahava has taught me a new way to see and to listen. To be able to witness her beautiful, playful way in the world has been such a blessing in my life.

Ahava actively listened deeply to me, beyond the words sometimes. She connected with me through taking a compassionate and focused interest in who I was. This made me immediately feel safe to share all of myself with her. She asked many questions to help bring me to a place of more self awareness. She shared stories from her life and presented me with possibilities I may not have thought of. She offered me homework designed personally for me to explore the place I was in at the time. It was like I was still living my same life, but now with new eyes. Eyes that were collecting data… what I liked, what I loved, what I didn’t like, what gave me energy, what did not.  Then she modelled being herself no matter what it looked like. I loved this.

During the monthly half-day retreats, I felt like I was given a safe network of women to do more of what I had done individually with Ahava. The sharing, and connection and learning was so very well facilitated. I feel my connection with Ahava and her incredible work has been one of the most important investments in myself I have ever made.

I just wanted to shout out to Ahava: THANK YOU for your excellent radio show. It is a highlight in my week. It is like an oasis of inspiration in the middle of my day, and feels like total luxury. I have taken to making myself a cup of very good tea and sitting down to enjoy it. It leaves me feeling refreshed and happy. Two weeks ago I listened to it in the bath, and that was divine. I got to relax, hear poetry, beautiful music and thoughts about Loving Inquiry, and sip my tea. Divine. Yep. Pure bliss. Thank you Ahava!
